Volunteers are the heart and soul of our program!
We’re happy you are interested in joining our team and we hope that you feel welcome here, because you are! Your support is what makes this program work, thus we welcome your input into all areas of C.A.S.E. From fundraising, horsemanship, board-meetings, and of course arena and barn work, your suggestions are welcomed.
Orientation: Volunteer orientation is for you, the volunteer. Our instructors go over the operations of therapeutic riding and are available to answer your questions. The focus is on you, the volunteer, so that you may do the best job possible when helping our riders, during their riding sessions. The teamwork involved in a successful program is where you the volunteer ,play a very important part in Central Alberta Special Equestrians. This is why we set this time aside to better facilitate communication, knowledge, and safety.
We look forward to seeing you at the barn! Be sure to wear appropriate (warm/layered) clothing and be prepared to have fun with this learning experience!
Volunteer Orientations: April 30, 2007 6:30pm. Call or email for Volunteer registration packet. 403-302-0707 Email coordinator@hoofbeats.org.

Volunteer Profile:
Meet Dave, one of our volunteers. Dave has volunteered for many years with CASE. If you need someone to calm a rider, Dave is your person. If you need someone to help assist a heavy lift, Dave is your person. If you need someone to nail some padding on the mounting block, Dave is your person. If you need someone to work a Bingo, Dave…., well you get the meaning here. Dave is a tremendous volunteer that is willing to help out in any area we need. He arrives when expected and even has been know to call into work sick because he knows when help is really needed. Dave can bring a smile from any rider on any given day, and when he curls the end of his waxed moustache with his fingers you know he is about to make us all laugh. Dave also brings family and friends to volunteer. Dave will offer other volunteers a ride if needed. We hope Dave knows we appreciate him and hope everyone reading this knows we appreciate Dave.
