About Us
At Central Alberta Special Equestrians (CASE), we are proud to celebrate 25 years of serving riders with special needs. We create a respectful, positive, and fun environment for people to learn and grow through horses.

CASE began in 1983 as the "Waskasoo Handicapped Riding Association." Our organization has changed and grown since it began, but our purpose has remained constant: to help people with disabilities in Central Alberta.
Our Mission
"As a charitable organization, Central Alberta Special Equestrians offers quality recreational therapeutic, equine-facilitated activities. We target the specific needs of the individual and provide opportunities for community involvement and support."
Our Vision - A Ride of Passion
Supporting the community through quality therapeutic equine-facilitated activities.
Our Philosophy
We believe that equine-facilitated activities provide recreational benefits for people with a wide array of disabilities.
We believe that the services provided at CASE allow community members the opportunity to enhance the quality of their lives.
We believe that we can provide enriching and inclusive services to the Central Alberta community.
We believe that our energy, creativity, and strength are dependent on our participants including riders, volunteers, staff, and horses.

We believe in the dignity and the worth of all whom we are privileged to provide service.
We believe in the potential of all of our participants, and we recognize, emphasize, and encourage our riders, volunteers, and staff.
We believe in providing a safe and secure environment for everyone involved in our organization.
